Description

These lovely hygrometers have been tested for accuracy by a government agency in Guangdong, and will measure temperatures between -30 and +50 Celsius to within 2 degrees Celsius, and humidity from 30-80% to within +/- 5%. The bodies are high quality 304 stainless steel. I like these because of their large size (around 5" diameter) and because no batteries are ever needed. They look great and can be wall mounted if desired (there is a slot on the back specifically for hanging them onto a screw or nail). The base is ABS plastic and can easily be unscrewed if desired.

These hygrometers cannot be calibrated, but these are good quality analog hygrometers, and will serve you well for years to come! The manufacturer suggests not knocking these hard. I keep two in the warehouse and one in my home storage. I can't believe I've been storing pu erh for seven years without hygrometers! It turns out my indoor temperature is significantly warmer and dryer than outside during winter. I still have to see what spring and summer bring!
