I offered this tea last year, and it was very well received by everyone who tried it! This tea is certified organic to Chinese government standards. It is from a plantation in the center of Zhejiang, which is famous for longjing tea. This tea is obviously not a longjing, but it certainly is lovely in its own regard! The farm is in the mountains at over 1000m of elevation. This tea brews up clean and smooth, and is very well balanced with lovely flavor. The liquor has light sweetness and lovely umami (more than last year's batch!). The dry leaves are bright green and smell fresh and grassy, and this tea is shipped to me in sealed bags with oxygen absorbers to preserve its freshness. The first infusion has characteristic green bean character: later infusions have a date and almond finish that I find intriguing. I usually only find these flavors in the best Wuyicha and tieguanyin, so I was very surprised to find them in this delicate green tea, and these flavors linger on the palate.

This is the farm's highest grade of this green tea and I am very pleased with it! There is lovely calming energy as well, which is always something I look for in green teas. This year's batch seems to have significantly more of a calming effect than last year's, so I'm definitely very happy with this tea!

Please note these pictures are of the 2018 batch, which was very similar (I think this year's is even better)!

Wholesale pricing is available on this tea. Please contact me for details.
