This beautiful 50ml cup is printed (and appears to also be painted) with a pattern that resembles, but does not seek to exactly replicate, the most famous Chinese tea cup around: the QingLong chicken cup! This version is lined with 99.99% purity silver, which is believed to lend very interesting effects to tea. I do believe the silver lining improves aroma and enhances flavor, while also smoothening the liquor. This may be due to silver ions that are contributed from the lining. I initially purchased one of these cups to test the effectiveness of silver on tea liquor without spending more for a solid silver cup. This was a good compromise, and it also scratched my itch for a replica chicken cup!
