Please note: There is a thumbprint on the lid knob (my hands were wet when handling the pot for pictures). The lid knob is perfect!

This is a high quality White Label zini teapot made by Factory 1. I don't know the exact year of manufacture, but thi is a very good example of this form and is extremely well crafted. I only have one of these and don't know if I'll ever be able to get another. I've tested it once with pu erh and it performed exceedingly well! This is finely milled zini and is not very muting, so I would recommend this pot for cleanly stored ripe and raw pu erh, as well as heicha. It could also be used for roastier oolongs if you like to use a larger pot for them, either for personal drinking or for serving a larger group.

The original sticker from F1 is still on the pot and has never been removed. Please note there is a very minor horizontal crack in the inside rim that I just noticed: the crack does not extend all the way through the inner rim and should not present any issues in use, but I wouldn't go slamming the lid down hard on this teapot either!

The pour speed is 30 seconds to empty: I would use 10-12g of pu erh for a pot this size and start my infusions at 40 seconds. You could also use a lower ratio and steep longer, or even top up as you go after pouring out half of the liquor. A pot this size can be used a number of ways. A high ratio could also be used to serve a group if you prefer to drink your pu erh at higher ratio with shorter steeps.

This is a rarely encountered F1 White Label pot and one I'd really like to keep for myself! Please note there is a slight color difference visible on some of the inside rim. This color difference is not visible when wet. I'm not sure how this could have happened, but it does appear that there is a very light layer of hongni on the rim, perhaps from using a tool that hadn't been cleaned off right before firing.
