Description

These tuos have been aged in Guangdong for eight years and the tea is super smooth and pleasant to drink now! While I have quite a few V93s from 2010, 2015 and 2017 aging away, mine need a considerable bit more time before they are where I want them! These 2010 tuos are an absolute delight and well worth the asking price. Young V93 tuos still have a sheng-like bite to them that I can feel in my tummy. That bite has been aged away here and you get a thick, sweet and smooth brew from these 2010s. I can't wait until my own tuos are ready, but these definitely have me looking forward to trying mine down the line!

There is a sweet aroma here that is distinctly Dayi. Kind of like milk chocolate and raisin in the 7572, but not quite, the material used for these tuos is choppier and doesn't have the longevity of the 7572. You do get a lot for your money with these, however, and I highly recommend these tuos as daily drinkers if you like shou! There is even a hint of the fresh bread note I find in my own storage here.

If you've tried fresh or Kunming-stored versions of this tuo, try these. I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised! There is no wo dui or humid storage note to this tea whatsoever!

Brewing suggestion: Full boil, with water of low hardness (15-35 mg/L, with 1-3mg/L of magnesium). Rinse twice, and start with 10-15 second infusions for the first two or three infusions, then add 10-15 seconds to each successive infusion. If the liquor is too weak, add more time.

Please note: No volume discounts are available on this tea! I only have a total of five tuos at this time!
