This was a surprise find from one of the families I've worked with for a long time: big leaf Yiwu Qiaomu material! This is stone pressed tea and there appears to be some huangpian in the blend. This tea has great longevity in the pot and has aged beautifully. The lighter traditional storage means there is only a little surface mold on the tea, and the liquor is very clean tasting. When pushed hard at very high ratio (10g/100ml), I can elicit some bitterness and earthy notes, but there's also some interesting date flavor. This is a very unique tea and it is smooth and easy to drink. At my normal ratio of 12g to 150-180ml, this tea is lightly sweet, very smooth and only lightly storagey. This tea was aired out really well, and will continue to air out in my warehouse over time.

This is a rare offering that I only have a limited amount of, and is unlike anything else I've ever had from this family. I'm very surprised by this tea and really enjoy it very much! It would be great to compare to the 2003 Banna Stored Yiwu I put on the site recently. This tea is much further along and in my opinion, cleaner tasting, due to how well the storage and later airing out process were conducted by the dealer.
